Installation
Handle with care during installation and mounting as the batteries are delivered in charged and moist state. Dont carry the batteries by grasping battery terminals and never hang them by fastening he terminals.
Never try to open the safety value as it will lead to poor sealing and affect the battery performance and service life.
Batteries used in same string should be the products with the same specifications. Avoid mixed use of batteries with different capacities, ages and makers.
The battery should be used in well-ventilated condition. dont use them in totally close space.
When connecting, the batteries should be well connected each other first and then connected with charging system and load. T The positive and negative terminals of the battery should be attached to the positive and negative clamps of the charge and the load respectively, make sure the bolts and nuts are tightened firmly the torque value of the connecting lead is approx.11 Nm for GMF battery and 8Nm for FM battery.
To achieve the expectant service life, select charging system with automatic limitation of current and stability of voltage, and with functions of protecting batteries from overvoltage, under-voltage and over-current. In addition, an alarming system is also needed, when the load varies in the range of 0-100% the precision of stabilizing voltage of the charging system should be kept in ±2% and the ripple current should be strictly limited below 0.1C 10A.
Operation
If exceeding the maximum discharge current and maximum discharge time, it may cause damage to the battery.
Never be stored in a discharged state, recharge the battery promptly after discharging and make it to a fully charged state.
Float operation
The float voltage is 2.23V per battery( 25).If the average ambient temperature is higher than 25, reduce the float voltage. Conversely it should be increased.
At various ambient temperature, the correction coefficient for float voltage is 3mV//battery
Cyclic operation
After discharging the battery should be recharged promptly at the constant voltage and limited current.
When the ambient temperature is 25,the initial maximum current is limited to 0.1 -0.125C 10A and charge the battery at 2.35-2.40V/battery of constant voltage value should be adjusted by use of correction coefficient of ±4mV//battery.
Check and maintenance
During operation the battery should be checked and maintained regularly and the battery operation record should be kept intact.
Periodically check the outward appearance and the voltage of the battery.
